Crystal Coast Highlight: Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market

Have you experienced the Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market? If you haven't we highly suggest that you add this to your "must-do" list this summer on the Crystal Coast. The farmers' market is located at 300 Courthouse Square in downtown Beaufort, right beside the Carteret County Courthouse, every Saturday morning from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

The market's mission is:

"to educate and inform the public about making healthy lifestyle choices concerning food, sustainable agriculture, personal health, and sound environmental practices in an informal learning setting which values interactions and shared relationships among members of the community."

Vendors at the market include everything from fresh, local produce, meats, seafood and baked goods to crafts, paintings, coffee and so much more! You can see a complete list of vendors on the Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market website here.

If you're looking to not only stock your pantry and your fridge with quality goods and find a few hidden treasure, but to get a feel for the wonderful, quaint community of Beaufort, we highly recommend spending some time browsing and strolling through the Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market on a Saturday morning this summer.
